Terms of Service

We are qonaf ("we," "us," "our"). We make Print with Comments for Google Docs ("the extension"), a Chrome extension that prints, or saves as PDF, the Google Doc you have open with its comments in the margin, and exports those comments to CSV or Markdown, as well as the website https://qonaf.com/print-with-comments/ (together, the "Services"). These Terms of Service ("Legal Terms") are a binding agreement between you and us about your use of the Services. By installing or using the extension, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Our Privacy Policy is part of these Legal Terms.

The extension is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Google LLC. Google, Google Docs and Chrome are trademarks of Google LLC.

1. Our Services

The free version lets you print or save as PDF a Google Doc you can open, with its comments in the margin, and export its comments. The optional paid subscription ("Pro") adds layouts (list at the end, margin and list), page settings (paper, landscape, text size) and a filter by author. The extension works only with Google Docs you are allowed to open and download with your own Google account. It relies on the exports Google provides; we do not control their content or availability.

2. Intellectual property rights

We own the extension, its code, design, texts and illustrations. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the extension for your own personal or professional purposes. Your documents and comments remain yours: we receive no rights over them, and we never receive them.

3. User representations

By using the Services, you represent that you have the right to access, print and export the documents you use the extension with, that you will comply with these Legal Terms and with applicable laws, and that you will not use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

4. Purchases and payment

The extension is free. Only Pro is paid. Payments are processed by Stripe; we accept the cards and payment methods shown on Stripe's checkout page. Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay and may include taxes depending on your country. You agree to provide current and accurate payment information. We may change prices for future billing periods; we will tell you before the change applies to you.

5. Subscriptions

Billing and renewal

Pro costs $1.99 per month. It renews automatically every month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method each month without asking you again.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from the extension's settings ("Manage subscription"). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month; Pro stays active until then. Removing the extension does not cancel your subscription. The page that opens when you remove it lets you cancel or delete everything immediately.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If something went wrong, write to hi@qonaf.com; we look at every request.

Right of withdrawal (EU and UK consumers)

You have 14 days from the start of Pro to withdraw. By subscribing, you ask for Pro to start immediately and acknowledge that, once Pro has started, you lose your right of withdrawal for the month already begun, as permitted by law. Cancelling remains possible at any time.

6. Prohibited activities

You may not: use the Services to access documents you are not allowed to access; copy, modify, resell or redistribute the extension; reverse engineer it except as permitted by law; interfere with our server, attempt to bypass the Pro check or overload the Services; use the Services in breach of Google's terms.

7. Third-party services

The Services rely on Google (Docs exports and sign-in), Stripe (payments), Resend (emails), Cloudflare (hosting) and Tally (optional survey). Their own terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their availability or for changes they make, including changes by Google to its exports that could stop the extension from working until we adapt it.

8. Services management

We may monitor the Services for breaches of these Legal Terms and take appropriate action, including suspending access to Pro for anyone who breaches them, without affecting your statutory rights.

9. Privacy policy

We care about privacy. Please read our Privacy Policy: your documents are never sent to us. By using the Services, you agree to it.

10. Term and termination

These Legal Terms apply as long as you use the Services. You can stop at any time by removing the extension, and cancel Pro as described above. We may end or suspend your access to Pro if you breach these Legal Terms; if we stop offering Pro for any other reason, we will stop billing you and refund any unused paid period.

11. Modifications and interruptions

We may change, update or remove parts of the Services at any time. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available or error-free, in particular when Google changes Google Docs. We are not liable for any loss caused by an interruption.

12. Governing law

These Legal Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you may also bring a claim before the courts of your country.

13. Dispute resolution

Before any formal action, please write to hi@qonaf.com: we will try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform or a consumer mediator.

14. Corrections

The Services may contain errors or inaccuracies, including in descriptions or prices. We may correct them at any time without prior notice.

15. Disclaimer

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Check printed or exported documents before relying on them: the extension depends on Google's exports, which may omit some elements (for example, resolved comments).

16. Limitations of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Legal Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Legal Terms or your misuse of the Services, such as printing or exporting documents you were not allowed to access.

18. Electronic communications

You agree to receive communications from us electronically (the Pro welcome email, receipts from Stripe, answers to your messages). You can stop optional news at any time with the link in each message.

19. Miscellaneous

These Legal Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us. If a provision is held invalid, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. We may transfer these Legal Terms in connection with a sale of the extension.
